We Art Better Together
For week 3 of the Philosophy and Critical Thinking Module I am racing through with Praxis, I watched and experienced Paul Cantor’s 10-part lecture on “Commerce and Culture” – and trust me, the 15+ hours of content certainly qualifies as an experience.
Cantor spends much of his time presenting and arguing for the benefits of art being produced commercially. After consuming and reflecting on all that was presented, I put together a video that showcases how my perspective on what it takes to create great art has shifted.
Long stories short:
1) Collaboration > Isolation.
2) You don’t have to sacrifice substance to maximize success.
